LocalizeMe collects and stores only shop-level configuration data:
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers.
Your data is used solely to operate the LocalizeMe service:
All data is stored in a secured database hosted on Railway (or equivalent cloud provider) in the EU/US region. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties, except as required by law.
If you uninstall the LocalizeMe app, all your shop data (banners, settings, analytics) is permanently deleted from our systems within 48 hours. You may also request immediate data deletion by contacting us at the email below.
As LocalizeMe stores no customer personal data, no customer data requests or redactions are necessary. We comply with all Shopify GDPR mandatory webhooks.
The storefront banner script does not set any cookies or tracking pixels. It reads the visitor's country code from Shopify's built-in locale system only.
